He found a a dark green antique glass bottle embossed with the name SPILLANE and LIMERICK on the base , likely originating from an Irish aerated mineral water or bottling business from the late 19th or early 20th century (such as Spillane of Limerick). Amazing to think that a bottle has been lying in the ditch for over a hundred years .
